Hopital de Meskine (Cameroon, West Africa)
Work ranges from preventive health education in the community to curative procedures
(e.g., strangulated hernia repair), C-sections, corrective surgery for leprosy patients, and
physical therapy. The medical staff provides surgery, maternity services, and general medicine along
with treatment in the out patient clinic.

A large, busy, modern hospital in Quito, Ecuador. In addition to treating patients, it's used as a teaching
center. Departments include cardiology, neurology, pediatrics, emergencies, obstetrics, physiotherapy,
hydrotherapy and family planning. Two month minimum stay, with service in several departments.

At the edge of the Amazon basin, 150 miles southeast of Quito, this 30-bed intermediate health care
facility provides general medical, surgical and out patient services for those living in remote areas.

Kenya Medical Mission (Africa)
Dental and medical missions in southwest Kenya near the Masai Mara. Evangelism
is accomplished showing the Jesus film in Swahili and Masai. Sometimes
we have a VBS for children. Non-medical people are welcomed to make inquiries.
Kibagora Hospital (Rwanda, Africa)
Rural 200 bed hospital in a district of approximately
148,000 persons. Busy surgical, general medicine and pediatric wards and maternity department.
Dental and eye clinics. AIDS testing with a pre and post-test counseling service.

Kijabe Hospital (Kijabe, Kenya, Africa) - Affiliated with Africa Inland Church
A 205-bed facility that sits at an altitude of 7500 feet on an escarpment overlooking
the Great Rift Valley in Kenya's central highlands. There are 4 modern operating theatres, a well-stocked
pharmacy, intensive care with wall-oxygen and ventilatory support, laboratory with microbiology,
and on-site pathology services.
Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre (Africa)
A referral hospital for over 11 million people in Northern Tanzania, it is a huge complex
with over 450 beds, and hundreds of outpatients and visitors coming to the centre everyday.
Includes the Kilimanjaro Christian Medical College. Medical students in their fourth year of study or
above are welcome to apply to KCMC for a clinical elective period.
Kiwoko Hospital (Uganda, Africa)
Services approximately half a million people in an area roughly half the size of Northern Ireland,
and annually treats around 23,000 outpatients and around 6,000 inpatients. They have 6 doctors.
There is an urgent need for teachers in the nurses school. Medical students coming on elective are
welcomed: there is a lot of hands on experience in the hospital. Contact

Kudjip Hospital (Papua New Guinea)
A 100 bed hospital that has treated 50,000 people as outpatients and admitted 4300 within this last year.
However, we are severely understaffed, and desperately need qualified medical professionals, including general
surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OB/GYN. Affiliated with the Nazarenes
Kusayapu Agricultural Institute
Christian school in Iquique, northern Chile says they are "always in need of dentists" in their
fully equipped dental clinic. Volunteers are needed to either come alone, in a small group, or along
with a work team that might assist with our construction needs. Accommodations are available. Affiliated
with the Methodist Extension to Andean Youth (EMANA), a program of the Methodist Church of Chile.
La Brisas Medical Clinic (Colonial Las Brisas, Danli, El Paraiso, Honduras)
We need doctors for medical brigades, and surgeons as well as dentists and eye doctors.
We also have pre-med, medical and nursing student elective programs in our clinics. We charge $225 dollars
