UK-based organization serves a poor rural community of mixed religious background. The Hospital seeks physicians, paediatricians, cardiologists, orthopaedic surgeon, obstetricians and gynaecologists and general practitioners willing to serve on a voluntary basis for a minimum of 2-3 months.

Mercy Airlift International
A Christian lead humanitarian and disaster relief organization which has operated worldwide since 1968, serving disaster victims and impoverished people. Medical Response Teams provide emergency medical services for the sick and injured.

Mercy and Truth Medical Missions

Medical, Eye and Ear Clinic providing low cost or free exams, care and eye wear to the very poor in Haiti. The ear clinic provides simple care for ear disease and evaluation of hearing loss. Mountain Mover's Missions International  (Clinica Esperanza Y Amor)
Helping the very poor in neglected areas of Honduras and Nicaragua. Mukinge Hospital (Zambia)
200 beds divided between 7 separate inpatient wards for general medical/surgical, maternity (1,300 - 1400 deliveries a year), acute paediatrics, malnutrition, isolation, and TB. Mvumi Hospital
Under the auspices of the Anglican Diocese of Central Tanganyika, the hospital provides health care for the Dodoma Rural District of Tanzania where the average life expectancy is only 46 years and over 25% of children die before the age of five. This is one of the poorest regions in the world with an estimated "income" per capita of less than 100 $ U.S. Medical electives available.

Provides free airborne health care, veterinary services, technical and educational assistance to people in remote areas of the United States and the world.

Remote Area Medical Airborne
Seeking doctors, nurses, and other medical and non-medical personnel, who are willing to jump from a perfectly good airplane into medically needy areas. Supplies are air-dropped into clearings near the areas. We use Douglas C-47/DC-3, to as small as the Cessna 150.

Roatan Volunteer Pediatric Clinic (Honduras)
Need for pediatricians who are interested in one month (or longer) rotations. We provide transportation and housing for board-certified or board-eligible pediatricians. Third year pediatric residents can spend a four week rotation. Volunteer pediatric nurses, respiratory therapists and pharmacists are urged to contact us.

Salem Voice Ministries
Only for "hard core", extreme evangelists who will risk death to establish converts in hard places, using their medical skills in India. Work in clinics, with the poor, orphans, prisoners. Provide artificial legs, wheelchairs, walking sticks, braille script machines etc. for the handicapped, disabled, blind, deaf and dumb people.

Salt and Light in the City

Samaritan Aviation
Provides services in Papua New Guinea using amphibious airplanes. Includes providing medical care for those who would otherwise go without. There is a high infant mortality rate and a low life expectancy rate caused primarily by the lack of adequate health care. Also serve in Baja, Mexico.

Samboan Fund - Cebu, Philippines
Operates a free Medical Clinic for the poor. We feed malnouished people, especially children. There is a 40% rate of malnourishment part of the year in the area. Speakers of English and/or Tagolag can help us, as can Cebuan Nurses, Doctors, and Dentists.

Save Orphans Ministries - Malawi
We exist to empower orphans and caretakers to meet the children's spiritual, emotional, intellectual and physical needs. Selian Lutheran Hospital
A full-service referral hospital in Northern Tanzania. One of our specialties is the treatment of severe cases of skeletal fluorosis (among the top five causes of crippling in children). Selian surgeons together with Orthopedic Surgery volunteers operate on approximately 200 of these children annually.

Tank Hospital (email)
The Tank Christian Hospital in Pakistan, situated close to the Afghanistan border, provides services people in nearby region and those coming from remote mountains. It includes surgical, ophthalmic, maternity, and medical wards. Four to five thousand bed patients are treated in the hospital and over 30,000 outpatients visit the polyclinic each year. The UK Branch of Joni Eareckson Tada's ministry to the disabled. Sends 'Wheels to the World' teams, consisting of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Rehabilitation Engineers, to supply refurbished NHS wheelchairs to people in needy countries. Students are also welcome to assist in the work. Teams go out for 10 days at a time, several times a year to countries in Eastern Europe and Africa.

Ukraine Children's Project
