Carolina Honduras Health Foundation
CHHF provides free medical, dental, and opthalmic care in a remote area of the Limón region where we
operate two clinics. We also offer health education regarding disease prevention, sanitation, and nutrition.
We accept volunteers with medical skills and unskilled workers.
Central American Relief Efforts (Honduras) (Not necessarily Christian)
Tending to the needs of the underserved, we use internists, specialists, dentists, ophthalmologists,
optometrists, chiropractors, nurse practitioners, nurse midwives, nurses, pharmacists, students, and support
people such as translators, drivers, school teachers, office workers, carpenters, retired executives,
housewives, and even teenagers.
Centro Evangélico de Medicina do Lubango (CEML) (Angola, Africa)
Evangelical Medical Centre of Lubango is a church-related health care institution and 40-bed
hospital seeking to provide medical services for an estimated 50% of Angolans who currently have no
alternative coverage. Pre-med and medical students, those in residency programmes, nurses, midwives,
and others, are welcomed.
The Chiapas Project
One week medical and dental trips serve the Zoque people of Chiapas, Mexico. Medical and dental
students, high school and older kids and other non-medical people welcomed.
Child Family Health International (Not necessarily Christian)
20+ global health immersion programs available in Bolivia, India, Mexico, Ecuador and South Africa for 4-12 weeks. Participants include individuals over the age of 20 that are premed, students of medicine, nursing and public health, as well as non-students.

Christian Medical Missions, Inc. (CMMI)
Established in 1990, CMMI sends medical teams five times a year for one week to remote Indian villages in
Panama, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Mexico. We use medical, dental, optometric, and lay volunteers.
Spanish is understood by the younger generations in these areas.
ChristianVision Eye Services to Haiti
Students and doctors can enjoy short trips and utilize the fully equipped eye clinic
not far from Port-au-Prince. You can help patients who often travel great

We take groups to the Amazon Jungle region of Ecuador 3 or 4 times per year for one week long

Engineering World Health (Not necessarily Christian)
Overseas summer programs for American undergrad and graduate students to teach usage, repair instruments and help with other aspects of biomedical engineering. Mercy and Truth Medical Missions

Palmas de Mamre Missionary Training School, Costa Rica
Partnering with Emercy, Las Palmas de Mamré operates a mission to reach the pueblos along the rivers bordering Costa Rica and Nicaragua. For ten weeks twice a year, students ages 15-80 from the Western Hemisphere come here to study missions, both in classes and in hands-on ministry, indigenous farm work, obstacle courses, medical clinics, and more.
