Caanan Children's Home (Buziika, Uganda)
Telling these poor children "God loves you" is not enough. We also provide food, clothing, shelter, a listening ear, a hand on a trembling shoulder, and a chance for a constructive future through vocational and educational training. Volunteer Doctors, Nurses, Evangelists, Bible Teachers, agriculturalists, builders, engineers, vocational instructors, educators, etc., are encouraged to inquire.

Canaan Children Home (Pudukottai, Tuticorin District, Tamil Nadu, India)
Our vision is to care for 15000 abandoned, handicapped and orphaned children before 2020. Volunteers who can teach and care for the children are welcomed to inquire.

Calvary Chapel (La Capilla del Calvario, Managua, Nicaragua)
We're in one of the roughest and toughest parts of the barios. The ones that are most attracted to us are "at risk youth" - teenagers at the point of their lives where they're looking at a relationship with Jesus as a solution instead of gangs or prostitution. Care Corner Orphanage (Thailand)
We provide Bible-based spiritual development, basic education, primary health care and moral guidance to about 100 children. We also provide shelter for girls who would otherwise be lured into prostitution. We need married couples in their late 30's or 40's who can be parent figures for our older children.

For 25 years has been doing church planting, Gospel works, ministries among lepers, gypsies, poor and destitute children in the slums, widows and the elderly, providing them the gospel of love, food, medical help, clothing and education. Volunteers welcomed.

Casa Amparo (Reynosa, Mexico)
Located across the border from the city of McAllen, Texas, the Casa is a refuge for more than 70 girls, ranging in age from 4 to 19 who have been abandoned, neglected, left homeless and most often horribly abused. (Orthodox Affiliation).

Casa Arco Iris (Zambrano, 36 km North of Tegucigalpa, Honduras)
One of the biggest problems that this nation faces is teenagers who are victims of sexual abuse and women that are being battered along with their children. This home is for pregnant teenagers or who have babies who are product of sexual abuse and for women that need refuge. Affiliated with Jimmy Hughes Ministries.

Casa Bernabe Orphanage (Guatemala City)
A city of refuge for more than 150 helpless, abandoned, or at-risk children, set on a beautiful 13-acre campus near Guatemala City. Volunteers and work teams welcomed to inquire to schedule a trip.

Casa Cielo Orphanage (Valle de Angeles and La Ceiba, Honduras)
We welcome volunteers to help in our two facilities. The only real requirements are a love for JESUS, a love for children, and a recommendation from their pastor. Operated by ROC Ministry.

Casa de Amor (Cochabamba, Bolivia)
A Christ-centered outreach to young children and their families. We accept servant-hearted volunteers (minimum stay, 6 months) to help us through direct care to children ages 0-5 years old. Casa de Esperanza (Honduras)

Casa de Hogar El Buen Pastor (Michoacan, Mexico)
Home to about 48 children, age from 3 to 18, with more boys than girls typically represented.

Casa De Los Gemas (Guadalupe, Mexico)
Ten miles from the US border, this ministry of Tapestries of Life Ministries is building an orphanage for 200 or more children. The home is designed in the shape of a cross, two stories high, and about 55,000 square feet. Work teams invited. Housing and transportation available.

Casa Guatemala (Rio Dulce, Guatemala)
Three locations. One houses around 100 children aged 2 - 16, that are sent there by the courts due to abandonment, abuse, poverty etc. as well as more children whose families live in isolated villages and send their children for education. Casa Hogar Eben-Ezer, AC (Tijuana, Mexico)
Led by solid Christian principles, our mission is to provide a loving and stable environment for needy children. We accept volunteers who might wish to give a weekend or come on a regular basis to help with property improvement projects, and if they are fluent in Spanish, to help tutor the kids in their homework.

Casa Hogar Jeruel (Chihuahua City, Mexico)
A Christian home for about 40 disadvantaged children who often come from backgrounds of physical and sexual abuse. A licensed psychologist works with the children to help them overcome the many problems associated with abuse. Volunteers and groups willing to help maintain the facility are welcome.

Casa Hogar Villa Francisco Javier Nuno Orphanage (Tepatitlan, Mexico)
This Roman Catholic orphanage in Mexico cares for over 100 children, babies to teenagers. We are looking for help, especially volunteers who can help with special needs children, and donations.

Casa para Ninos Aleluya (Guatemala) Casa para Ninos Aleluya
400 children. Medical clinic, elementary school, vocational training, dormitories including baby dormitory. Work teams typically visit us for 7-10 days and are involved with construction projects, children's activities, dorm parenting, and other tasks.

Changing Tomorrow Children's Foundation (Qwaqwa, South Africa)

Charity Orphanage Centre (Buea, Cameroon, Africa)
We care for several hundred children, orphaned or abandoned due to high death rates of adults, and poor health infrastructures. Childhelp Sierra Leone (Freetown, Sierra Leone, West Africa)

Children of Hope Orphanage (Monrovia, Liberia)
The Children of Hope Orphanage is operated by Christ's Victory Int'l Mission of Liberia. We provide total care for 29 children who are orphaned by disease, war or desertion. Christian volunteers are welcomed. All skills are useful but especially needed is the capability to display the love of the Lord.

Children of the Nations (Sierra Leone, Malawi, Dominican Republic)
Orphanages assist destitute and orphaned children with feeding and clothing programs. Sierra Leone is lush, but filled with thousands of beautiful children that have been tortured and traumatized in a 9-year civil war, left to fend for themselves. Provides grass roots/competency based practical training from a Christian and international perspective, for those working, or wishing to work, with children at risk. Children's International Lifeline (La Digue, Haiti)

City of Angels Children's Home (Tijuana, Mexico)
Provides a much needed place to live, food and a chance to go to school for children lacking a safe or loving home. Groups welcomed for a weekend or a week to work on any of the many projects. Contribute your talents, skills and resources to some special way to the children.

Colina de Luz (Near Tijuana, Mexico)
Home for about 80 boys and girls, from infants to 21 year olds. Considered by the Mexican Government to be one of the finest Homes of its kind and in 1999 won one of two Golden Angel Awards. Trade skills and conventional education, spiritual development, are provided. Volunteers most welcomed.

Colombia Street Kids (Proyecto Restauracion, Bogota, Colombia) ("Formando Vidas")
For moving children who are "of" the streets full time, children who are partially "on" the streets, and children who are at high risk of going to the streets, into a multi-step program. Compassion Children Home (Chennai, India)
Single parent and abandoned children are provided food, shelter, clothing, medicine and education. Corazon del Pastor (Cochabamba, Bolivia)
Corazon del Pastor is a girls home, part of Ninos con Valor. We work from the foundational belief that every child is a unique creation of God with innate value. We provide a family-like atmosphere where girls receive holistic care and lots of love. There are short-term (4 mo. minimum) and long-term volunteer positions open.

Corazon de Vida Foundation (Baja, Mexico)

Covenant Home Orphanage (Kisumu, Kenya - on Lake Victoria)
Most of the almost 200 orphans and street children are in nursery, primary and high school and live in several bungalows. Many have come from the streets, have been abused, abandoned, or are brought in by relatives unable to care for the children properly. Volunteers welcomed to inquire.

CRM Orphanage (Monrovia, Liberia, West Africa)
A civil war destroyed the nation, and thousands of children are orphaned and living on the streets without support, supervision or schooling. We work to restore hope and well-being for some of these, being essential for the future of the nation. Volunteers with skills for child care are welcomed. Christ's Restoration Ministries.

CRY - Care and Relief for the Young
Christian orphanages in Albania, Ukraine, Romania, Russia, Kosovo. Volunteers should have an active, personal faith in Jesus Christ and child care qualifications and/or personal experience in the field of residential child care, street outreach, administration with IT skills, social work, etc. Usually six month minimum term.

Cuenca Safe-Haven Ponchos Place of Peace (Ecuador)
75% of street children in Central and South America are addicted to sniffing glue. We opened Ponchos Place of Peace,a 7 bedroom facility, to raising some of these children in a family style environment. It is our goal to expand.

Cyorf Foundation for Community Development (Jinja, Uganda)
Taking in mostly AIDS-affected children, we provide formal education, heath care, HIV/AIDS education, vocational training and preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ to desperately poor, neglected and forgotten orphans and widows. Volunteers urged to inquire.

The first home sponsored by Mustard Seed Communities to care exclusively for babies infected with the HIV virus. "The staff is committed to giving each baby a true feeling of love and acceptance as long as they are with us."

Davis Lar Children's Home (Fortaleza, Brazil)
Our goal is to raise and equip Brazilian street children to become adults who will make a difference in their community and the world. About 40 children. We invite teams for construction (house, gymnasium, school), or to work with the kids for a week or two. We also need individuals who can serve.

Dazzling Stone Orphanage (Chennai, India)
"Hands-on" projects enables volunteers to help improve and expand the capacity of this orphanage outside Chennai, where thousands of abandoned, homeless or even disabled children don't have enough food or water for basic survival. American-based Global Volunteers sends several teams each year to this facility.

Debra-Jo Safe Haven House (Port-au-Prince, Haiti)

Dorcas Children's Home (Kinango, Kwale district, Eastern Kenya)
We work to help poor, disadvantaged, and orphaned children to become balanced and dependable adults, able to realize their full potentialities. Dwelling Places (Kampala, Uganda)
A transit home where the needs of street children, abandoned babies, and other children-in-crisis are provided. A health and rehab services program works to resettle the children back into their communities. Education, foster care, adoption, family empowerment, and outreach programs.

East African Mission Orphanage (Nakuru, Kenya)
Established in 1997 by an Australian family who still live there and now care for over 90 beautiful Kenyan children. Still expanding. A must to see if you are in Kenya. Volunteers are welcomed to inquire. You can help by teaching, or in any department.

Ebenezer Orphanage (Lusaka, Zambia, Africa)
The orphanage is for children left homeless through the death of both parents from HIV / AIDS. We welcome short-term volunteers to serve as teachers, administrators, matrons, bookkeepers and general purpose handy work. Experience, although an advantage, is not necessary.

El Dulce Refugio ("The Sweet Refuge". Banos, Ecuador)

Beautifully situated on top of a mountain, the orphanage also serves the surrounding community with a school, clinic, farm and church. Volunteers can help with expanding the school, building a new high school, expanding the dairy farm, adding an infant care center and building volunteer housing quarters.
